Conference Venue
The conference will be held in Iran Summit Hall (ISH) situated at the beautiful foot-hills of Alborz mountain range. International Conference Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran (ISH) was inaugurated on the occasion of the Islamic Conference Summit in December 1997. Presidents, crown princes, premiers and sheiks from 55 Islamic Conference Organization countries gathered for the 4-day Summit to discuss Islamic solidarity. This place is now used by the Iranian government to host national and international events.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, responsible for the Summit , was challenged to build the new Conference Center in less than eight months. The complex occupies a 24,500 m2 site on the Shahid Chamran Highway, north of Tehran International Fairgrounds.

Guests enter the conference center through one of two lobbies on the eastern and western flanks of the building. The eastern lobby leads directly to the main level of the assembly hall, while the western lobby leads to the assembly hall balcony. The Main Hall seats 1,800 and spans a diameter of more than 54 meters. Tall and massive interior pillars of robust cylindrical form support the dome and luminous crystal pillars surround the hall.

It is also surrounded by eight private meeting rooms and two boardrooms. Two multipurpose halls and prayer and ablution halls are also part of the conference center, as are two rest lounges and four smaller conference halls. The roof terrace commands a beautiful panorama of the Alborz range.
